Client Experience Superstar!
Do you love serving people and seeing their businesses thrive? Do you have a passion for helping businesses be the best they can be, providing outstanding services and support? Do you have the unique ability to be both personable and technical? If so then we may have the perfect role for you!
Shrpa is recruiting a Client Experience Superstar in Edinburgh to help support our clients around the world with their website and marketing needs. This role is a blend of customer support, basic website maintenance, and project management.
Here’s who you need to be:
To succeed in this role you’re going to have to be a self-starter, able to take initiatives, and really like working with people. You’ll need to understand client deadlines, manage multiple projects at the same time, and be able to communicate clearly with clients and partners in a professional, but friendly way. You’ll also need to be someone who already has a basic understanding of WordPress and CSS and is able to find technical solutions to common website issues as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing

Processing client request and maintenance to their websites
A large part of the role will be taking client requests for updates and changes to their websites and actioning those updates as required. Although not hugely technical, attention to detail is key.

Managing outsourced partners
We work with specialised partners all over the world to help deliver an outstanding service to our clients. A key part of this role will be managing that pool of partners and assigning them tasks in their specialist field.

Communicating and nurturing customer relationships
You’ll be the main contact for many of our clients, so having clear and friendly communication skills is key to this role. You should be able to write very well in English.
Your Responsibilities:

Clear Client Communications
You’ll be responsible for communicating with clients in a timely and professional manner. This will include helping them with their support needs, explaining services clearly, and understanding their needs so that we can effectively help them.

Nurturing and developing customer relationship
We believe that by giving our clients an outstanding service and adding huge value we not only help them, but we also grow too. By focusing on what will help the customer first and foremost, we build great and long-lasting relationships with our customers. You’ll be key at maintaining these relationships on a daily basis.

Complete minor technical updates
Although a large part of this role is to communicate with our clients, another part of it will be carrying out some minor technical updates on websites. It’s not complex work, but you’ll need to have a core competency.

Competent technical ability in WordPress and CSS
We’re not looking for pure web developers for this role, however, you will need an understanding of WordPress, page builders, and CSS. The role will involve doing some technical updates. Training will be provided, but if you know the basics you’ll be better placed.

Hours
This role is full time, however, we would consider splitting it between 2 people on a part-time basis if that was more desirable and there was a better cross-over of skills. We offer flexible working hours.

Location
This role is based in Shrpa’s Edinburgh Office on Castle Terrace. Although we will expect you to come into the office initially, you will be free to work remotely from anywhere you want once you get into the role.

Salary
Once we know if you’re a good fit for Shrpa we’ll talk about money. We absolutely believe in rewarding people according to the value they add to the company and our clients. When serving our clients we’re all about adding massive value to them, and the money comes next. We expect you to have the same approach. Add massive value and money won’t be a problem. Just want a paycheck… probably best look somewhere else!
What we’re like
Shrpa have been building websites for our clients around the world for the last 8 years. We’re passionate about helping our clients with their technical needs, and we’re always looking for ways to make their online presence more effective. We’re currently in a transition stage as we move into more online marketing for our clients, so it’s a very exciting time to come on board as the opportunities are huge.
